It's now 10 a.m. If the operator says, 'He'll be back in an hour', write 11.00. 1 A: Could I speak to Mr Day, please? B: I'm sorry, he’s not in right now. He'll be back in an hour. A: Thanks, I'll call later. 2 A: Is Ms Lewis there, please? B: She’s just gone out. She’ll be back in fifteen minutes. A: Oh, I see. 3 A: Yes . . . I'd like to speak to Mr Grant, please. B: I'm afraid he’s out of the office at the moment. He won’t be back for an hour. A: Oh, I see. Well, I'll call back then. 4 A: Could I speak to Mrs Ginatti, please? B: I’m sorry, she’s not here just now. A: When will she be back, please? ‘ B: In an hour and a half. 5 A: Mr Frank, please. B: Mr Frank’s not here at the moment.
